Only the decorative top molding measures 15" wide 10" deep, however the actual cabinet measures 12 1/4" wide, 8 1/2" deep on the outside, and the side panels are 1" each (leaving a shelf space of 8 1/2 x 10---smaller than an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper), so if you're looking for a tiny cabinet, this might be for you. However, if you want something that actually has storage capacity, look elsewhere. I feel some deception here. The catalog also showed that it ships for $30...the confirmation I received showed $30 S&H and $11.25 Sales Tax. But, the invoice that came with the cabinet shows $60 S&H and $13.20 Sales Tax...$32 more than the confirmation. All in all, a bit disappointing. I will be contacting Amazon.com/Home Decorators about overcharges.
