I bought this for my husband as a gift after seeing a friend's wall-mounted version. We did not have a suitable wall location for mounting one, so we went with the freestanding option. I did some internet research and chose this brand/model based on other positive reviews. We've been using it for over a month and we love it. We were mostly interested in having our towels dry, but the warmth is nice also. We read other reviews and have been keeping our towels folded lengthwise in 4ths on it, and it definitely dries them thoroughly and seems to keep the warmth in better than when the towels are opened out more. To minimize our costs/electricity usage, we bought a timer to have the towel warmer turn on/off at different times of day based on our shower schedule. Love it!
