First off my husband has been wanting to turn our spare fridge into a kegerator for a while. I finaly broke down and got this kit for him as a fathers day gift. I was a little disapointed that I paid for expidited shipping and it took a week to come in. Upon arrival the gauge for the tank was cracked. So I called and a new gauge was mailed out and arrived with 2 days.
Installing the kit into our prepared refridegerator was easy since hubby has the tools. All it took was a drill with a 1 inch hole saw for the shank and went through nicely. we got the CO2 bottle filled at a local welding supplier for less than $20 and a 1/2 keg of (favorite beer name here). Getting the pressure on the keg to equal out and stay constant took him some time to get it to maintain at 12PSI. We decided that it was because we brought the keg in put it in the fridge hooked it up turned on the gas got it to reccomended pressure and got FOAM. Let the keg settle for an hour or two then be good to go. I would highly reccomend this item to anybody that enjoys draught beer from home.
