I have not used this yet as it is a gift for someone else. But keep in mind this is a European style plug. They don't sell this yet in the USA so you can't get one for here so make sure you get an adapter too.

I just noticed all the comments on this review :-/
The model that I was sent at least, was the 110/220 50-60hz. This makes it universal and you only need a plug adapter and not a transformer. Braun is good about making their products universal as they sell in many countries. I don't know why they choose not to sell this product in the US, it would do very well.

This was a gift, but the recipient has been very very happy with it. I've used it a few time and was impressed by the power it has. It looks great in the kitchen, and is easy to grab and use at any moment. The included blender attachment is great, I have used it to make home made salsa many times and it comes out so good. Also included is an ice chopper.

After almost two years of light to medium use, the battery is still going strong. It's LI-IO, so it will outlast any NI-MI or NI-CAD in both longevity and runtime.
