At first i thought it was to bold.
But i had wanted a duvet that was happy but not with flowers ,and did not feel like going through the return by mail process.So ,
washed this according to the directions,as their was an odor of sorts that i was not so thrilled about,i hung it to air dry and then could hardly wait to see it on my bed.
It fit my Costco gel pillows-standard size to a T and i did not notice any extra fabric on the duvet cover(queen size) like some mentioned.
My 15 year old son who does not notice anything ,when asked said it was "happy looking" and that he liked it alot.
He has very good taste - he picked out the beauty queen winners two years in a row at the age of three and four so he has all the credentials.

I now have light green sheets on my bed and this duvet matches perfectly,it will go with my red sheets or even pink striped sheets ,white ,gold,anything!I love versatility.
This is cozy ,soft ,happy looks so beautiful and I just love it.
