This is the second wine cellar I have purchased in the last 3 years and I researched this for a week. The last wine cellar I had was a bust from Oster, a great Black Friday deal but stopped working after 6 months. My experience was that it took several hours to cool down and it was realy picky about the ambient temperature. Just a little dust on the back cover sent the internal temp upward and really, all I wanted was chilled wine!!! After all my research, I kept coming back to this model. This has the "look" I wanted for my kitchen but I had never owned a product by this company. I did read the other reviews regarding the humming sound it makes but in my position my previous wine cellar sounded like a jet taking off each time you opened the door to get out a bottle of wine and it had to kick in to lower the internal temp again.
When I first unpacked the NewAir cellar, my first thought was wow, this is beautiful!! I got it set in it's new home by the wet bar and plugged it in. Gorgeous!! The temperature starting out showed 74 degrees and it was automatically set to go down to 54 degrees. And it got to 54 degrees....in 30 minutes!!!! I was shocked!! So by that time, I loaded about 10 bottles of wine into the cellar. It took about 1 1/2 hours total to chill all that wine that had been at room temperature. I am very impressed with this machine. As for the humming sound, I have yet to hear it. I know it is working because the wine is cold, but not sure what the other reviewer were describing...maybe my kitchen is just noisy!!hahaahaha
Anyway, I would not hesitate to recommend this cellar and will follow up in a few months with an additional review.
09/14/10 UPDATE:
As promised, I wanted to give an update on the New Air Wine Cooler. It is still as great as when I first got it. Because it is thermoelectric, dust does affect the temperature and I noticed that when we were finishing our kitchen remodel, all the dust from sawing wood and drywall did cause the temp to raise a few degrees. I just blew out the back and within 30 seconds the temp started to drop back to 52. Now when I see the temp go up to 53 or 54 I know it is time to blow out the back cover. I would say I do that once every 3 months and for the record, I feel like our house has an inordinate amount of dust year round so in a house with less dust this may not even be needed. I am still very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Coaster Nailhead Trim Design Queen Size Tan Microfiber Headboard Review

I have a window above my queen bed so I needed a headboard that wasn't too high. I searched for a long time finally giving up on the iron headboards and the very masculine dark brown leather headboards. This one is perfect and I think would appeal to either a man or a woman as it has a contemporary look. It arrived within a week UPS in a big box and the delivery man brought it inside my entry which was great because it was very heavy. Took awhile to cut all the cardboard away as it was well-wrapped with no damage. Instructions were good - all nuts, bolts and tools were inside in a plastic bag. Best to lay all of them out first following the diagram and then select the right size bolts. Was not difficult to put together on the floor, (three bolts each leg) just takes a little patience if working alone. Took about 45 mintues to unwrap and attach the two legs. Did not attach the headboard to the bedframe so I could easily move my bed for cleaning but checked that the holes matched the frame slots and they did. Headboard is thickly padded, very sturdy, has a covered back, appears to be made well, and the antique brass nailheads add an updated look without being gawdy. There is a seam around the top edge which defines the thickness. Also came with plastic sliders on the bottom so I could easily slide it across the floor to the bedroom. The microfiber goes perfectly with my new "Safari" (tan, black and Zebra print) bedspread and throw pillows. I wasn't sure if the pictured tan color would be dark enough against my warm tan walls but it is a medium tan so it does have a contrast. Looks expensive and I like that it goes with all different color bedspreads!

Merino Kids Winter-Weight Baby Sleep Sack For Toddlers 2-4 Years, Mint/Banbury Review

This sleepsack is definitely a heavier weight than the "regular" sleepsack weight from Merino Kids (which is what we use in the warmer months). When the temperature in the house is in the 67-69 degree F range, this sleepsack and just a long-sleeve cotton shirt work well for nighttime. As the temperature gets towards 60 degrees F in the house at night, pairing this sleepsack with the Merino Kids woolen PJs works well.

We are fans of the Merino Kids sleepsacks, even with the high prices. They have worn and washed very well, and I think have helped our toddler sleep well through the night, in warmer and cooler months. These certainly are well made (at least the ones we've gotten so far), and are in great shape as hand-me-downs or loaners to friends.

But first you need to prep your dryer tubes and you need a plastic lint trap. Buy one of those devices you attach a drill bit to with a brush on the end of a plastic cable. Go outside where your tube dumps lint all over your yard or porch and start pushing all that nasty lint out by your dryer tube in the wall. Clean up the mess and tell all your friends you have a great device they can borrow one day and thank you a hundred times over after seeing all the stuff that comes out of your tubes- its a fire hazard as well.
