I ordered this for our daughter who wanted to cover a wall area for use in getting her ideas out (she likes to work large). This certainly fits the bill. The ledge is perfect for holding chalk and erasers and her friends use it as well. We had "considered" using chalkboard paint on the wall itself but decided that an actual board itself would work better and it would be less likely to damage the wall itself. The delivery was fast and trouble free. We are very happy with the purchase.
