My HG04230820 : master shower, trim/volume control hasn't worked properly yet ...
installed about 2 months ago. Symptom: Turn on water to "hot", wait for it to heat up ...
when it gets hot, the temperature control handle then slowly drifts down to the cold position (this takes about 4 seconds), but leaving the water scalding hot. Now, the handle moves freely but has NO control over the water temperature. My builder reported back that "1 out of 50" of these have this problem. Other reviewers (at Amazon, for very closely related versions) report that the circular base gets water stains ... darn. I just checked ours, which has been turned on maybe five times. Water stains.
