The wood on this bench is very nice, but assembly is very difficult. 12 long wood screws were provided for assembly. The starter holes were not drilled deep enough and it was very hard to drive the screws in as far as they were supposed to go. My husband used an electric drill will a small bit to extend the holes, but was never able to get the top screws to go in all the way. The bench seems a little but wobbly and not as stable as it should be. This product needs to be redesigned as far as assembly is concerned.
