Unit arrives fully assembled and it looks great. Sturdy construction and quality material. It is a fantastic way to save space in a laundry room and the appearance is far nicer than floor-standing models. It is sturdy enough to hold wet towels, jeans, etc when installed with a slight modification.

As delivered, the instructions call for the unit to be hung from two screws that are held by anchors in the drywall. The holes in the back of the unit are rougly 36 inches apart which means they won't both go into studs even if you have your choice of hanging locations. I was limited by the door to the laundry room on one side and curtains on the other side and didn't feel comfortable hanging wet, heavy clothes on the unit when it isn't fastened to studs. The unit itself is pretty heavy and with wet clothes added I felt like it needed to be fastened into the studs. First I installed the product as the instructions indicate using the anchors. With the unit hanging on the wall, I drilled two new holes through the top of the unit where they would be hidden by the rack when it is closed. I put two 2" wood screws into the studs. As another reviewer mentions, the bottom of the unit can also easily pull away from the wall when opening the racks so I also added 2 L-brackets to the bottom of the unit into the studs and everything is very secure. The entire installation process took less than 45 minutes and I don't recall swearing at all.

I would have given it 5 stars had they had some type of delivered installation that used wall studs but this is a great product.
