We ordered these stools to use at a tall work table (36" high) at our office. They are the perfect height and quite comfortable, which honestly surprised me. Most stool seats are not comfortable for me, at least not for very long. However, the saddle-style seat is well padded, and the footrest relieves back fatigue. We searched for stools for quite some time before settling on these. Getting everyone in our office to agree on a style was not easy, but the classic, clean lines of this stool garnered a unanimous vote.
We also selected these to match our office chairs that have a similar-colored leather seat, and they match well. Unlike a few of the other reviews I read, the seats were not darker than the product photo online. They are also very sturdy, and several of our clients that weigh over 250 lbs have used them with no problems with wobbling. They were easy to assemble, and the assembly tools were included in the packaging. I would recommend having someone sit on the stool for final screw tightening so that the seat is good and level.
We've used them every day for the last three weeks and couldn't be happier.
