Don't let the reputable manufacturer and good reviews on other beds deceive you!My boyfriend Joseph and I purchased this bed back in March from a brick and mortar Target store in Seattle, WA. It was fine at first, a little lumpier than we'd like. We bought a memory foam pad costing $166 from Amazon.com to go on top of it. It was rather nice for a while until mid-April.
In mid-April, we heard a sound all of a sudden while lying on top of the bed like a small pop, the headboard had detached from the rest of the bed, leaving a deep curvature forming a lint valley in between where it used to stand against the rest of the bed. In the weeks following, the body of the bed started its quick decent to complete uselessness. It began by first slanting downwards from the headboard to the foot of the bed. We'd wake up to find our feet hanging off the ends and our heads sliding off our pillows. Then, we noticed the bed deflating more and more and at a faster rate. When we finally were able to move to a bed and breakfast temporarily and could stop sleeping on this bed, we stripped the linens to find that the even memory foam had formed a crease where it had kept sinking in as we slept.
It's now less than 6 months later and we struggle with our now defunct 30 lbs of plastic that we can't even return.
