The rug is lovely, the colors are quite nice. However, part of the reason I purchased this rug was because the description said it was 100% cotton. On the rug's label, it says it is polypropylene. I have an infant, which is why I wanted natural fiber. I have a cotton braided rug that is 2 years old and has never frayed. This rug has several fraya already, I would assume due to to plastic type nature of the fiber. I give it 2.5 stars.

Brondell H2O+ Cypress Countertop Water Filtration System Review

A good friend of mine sent me a link to an article (http://ezinearticles.com/?Brita-Water-Filters---Are-They-Really-Cost-Effective?&id=2287176) about how effective Brita water filters are in terms of taking out the bad stuff. I was pretty shocked to learn that there's lots that it doesn't handle - only 75% of the chlorine found in drinking water. While the faucet filter does remove some VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), neither the pitcher or faucet filter removes pathogens. This got me more than a little concerned!

In looking at solutions, it was important to me to find a product that was certified by the WQA (Water Quality Association) and one that would be easy for a non-DIY'er like myself :)

After doing a little research I stumbled on the brondell...it's certified ("3 stage filtration" - sounds impressive!), says it takes out the bad stuff cheaper systems can't and claims to be easy to install (unlike most of the "under the sink" products). So, far, so good! It literally took me 5 minutes to set up. It looks good on the counter and (it might be my imagination here) it really seems to taste better than my Brita pitcher. And the piece of mind - at least for me - is worth the price!

Bush Furniture Harvest Cherry Cabot Collection Overhead Hutch, 60-Inch Width Review

I've been shopping for something exactly like this for a couple of months and I'm glad I found this. It's made with inexpensive materials (particle board and very thin wood grain veneer) but it does exactly what I want it to do, and the price ($160 with free shipping) was more than fair. Appearance-wise, it's plain but handsome, stable and strong, and it fits perfectly on a desk I already had. I do want to caution - no, WARN - potential buyers that the directions for assembling this unit are the worst I've ever seen. I've put together several pieces of furniture of this type, including Sauder brand. I can say with all honesty that if I hadn't brought that experience to this project, I never would have been able to figure it out. There are no written instructions, only a single drawing for each step of assembly, and those are small and lack detail, so you're left to figure out a lot of the connector steps yourself. The boards are all numbered and those correspond well with the drawings, but the screws and patented connector pieces are not always intuitive, and the drawings are of very little help. All of that being said, since I was able to figure it out based on my earlier experience, I was able to put the unit together completely by myself in about 90 minutes. If you can put it together, you'll love it. P.S. the one dimension that doesn't show on the schematic image is the space from the bottom of the lowest shelf to the desktop, where you would fit a monitor. It's exactly 17-3/4" so if your monitor is any taller than that, you'd have to raise the hutch with blocks.

If you are 60ish++, single and out of shape - ladies - think again. It is very heavey when it is delivered and they must use at least one roll of packing tape. Every corner on the box was reinforced with heavey cardboard so there was no chance of damage in shipment. Hint - It says Team Pull on the box - forget most of the corners that is where you want to open it It only took me 2 hours to figure that out. You must put the legs on. Hint - if the holes don't line up on the back legs - switch them. There really is a left and right rear leg. After 4 hours of effort and on the verge of giving up - my son showed up took everything off I had struggled with to put on and assembled the chair in 20 minutes. I did have to feed the rotten kid but it was worth it. The fabric is heavey duty and rough. I wouldn't recommend it if your cat has claws. Mine went after it immediately but she doesn't have claws thank goodness. It is a little narrow but I find it very very comfortable. I would buy it again but would prepare a better dinner for my son and let him get it out of the box. Pay attention when ordering. This is not free shipping from Amazon - shipping was very expensive. To bad I didn't notice that until it was too late.
